CONCEPT CREATION | Nurbek Character Design Part | Final 3D Model + Rigging

This week on POLYCOSM we are FINALLY back with the Nurbek series after a very long break. Christina will be taking Omercan’s 2D concept artwork from the previous videos and translating that into a fully rigged 3D character in Blender. This video will go over the full process of creating Nurbek using Makehuman, tweaking the mesh from Makehuman so that they fit the proportions of Nurbek, modeling low-ish poly clothing and accessories, attaching all of the clothing and accessories to the rig that came with the MakeHuman model and testing out some basic Mocap animation recorded with an Xbox Kinect 2.0.

Note: Sorry for the poor audio quality on this one! Our editing software managed to completely butcher it, but we’ll be switching to another software for the next videos. 🙂
